DEXTROSE (Brewers Sugar) . DEXTROSE is probably the best “pure” sugar for the Fermentation of beer and other drinks because it contains no less than
99.5% glucose. Glucose is a “simple” sugar which completely ferments out in the Fermentation process leaving no residue behind.
Dextrose is suitable for every beer type and should be the preferred sugar for Home Brew every time.
Glucose, a monosaccharide, is a very important carbohydrate. It is a pure source of energy and is used in many energy drinks.
Dextrose is commonly used in Baking and other food preparations.
Athletes consume glucose mixed with water when they need a quick burst of energy.
DEXTROSE (Brewers Sugar), is not the same as Sucrose which comes from cane. Dextrose is corn sugar.
